Prologue

James Ng Kok Boon

"When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
Things happen twice. Once in your mind, the other in action.
We write our own chapters in life, we are who we are."
and it goes on...

Chemistry was sure one tough nut to crack.. studied like siao but all those shit didn't came out at all. When the paper was over, everyone was shaking their heads as if they were high on ecstasy. So I told myself to forget about chemistry and do well for Geography but then...

For the hottest afternoon to be synchronize with the longest paper in my syllabus, i was half-dead before i went into the stuffy hall. Luckily i drank abit of water from Philbert's water bottle which contains a high concentration of bird's nest(Philbert's saliva). I went in to the hall and thank god i was sitting beside the wall fan. When the breeze is coming my way, i react as though i was high on drugs and enjoyed myself for the few, short seconds. The paper came and I started flipping through the pages-No volcanoes.

For the first time in my life, i felt that i am in love with Rambert. He told me all about the deltas a few days before the paper. After the paper ended, being the kan chiong kind, i can't help but wonder.. why is it that every freaking time it is Abdillah that the invigilators have to wait for him to tie his god damn papers. If he is holding on his own time thats fine but argh, he just like to do things to annoy us.

The paper was
okay, maybe Cambridge decided to let this last batch to score well but we can't take things for granted. Can we?
